– Is Maria cold? – Yes, she is cold and hungry. – Мария замерзла (Марии холодно)? – Да, ей она замерзла (ей холодно), и она голодна.

– Are Peter and Marry late? – No, they are not late. I am sure. – Пётр и Мария опаздывают? – Нет, они не опаздывают. Я уверен(а).

– Are you sure Maria is back? – Yes, I am sure and Peter is sure too. – Ты уверен(а), что Мария возвращается? – Да, я уверен(а) и Пётр тоже уверен.

– Are your(твои) feet cold? – Твои ноги замерзли?

– My (мой-моя) back is good, thank you! – Моя спина в порядке (с ней всё хорошо), спасибо!

ВНИМАНИЕ: в английском языке присутствуют сокращения при написании отрицаний и местоимений + глагол TO BE в настоящем времени. Итак:

I am = I`m, I am not = I`m not

He is = he`s, He is not = He isn`t (также и с she, it)

They are = they`re, they are not = they aren`t

We are = we`re, we are not = we aren`t
